Multiple Listing Service (MLS): What Is It? An MLS is a private offer of cooperation and compensation by listing brokers to other real estate brokers. Brokers share information on properties they have listed and invite other brokers to cooperate in their sale in exchange for compensation if they produce the buyer. Sellers benefit by increased exposure to their property. Buyers benefit because they can obtain information about all MLS-listed properties while working with only one broker.
Once a listing is activated on the MLS, it’s distributed to other sites. See image below.
Marketing
Our goal for marketing a home is to have the widest possible exposure online. As your agent I have an online marketing strategy that incorporates social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin, Yelp, our company website, among others.
The marketing will include your home and it’s many features but also the surrounding area. In most cases we are selling the home and the lifestyle that comes along with it. This may include amenities that your community may offer or amazing shopping and restaurants nearby.
